此福建人不知姓氏，庚午冬，余推之，大取金水运，不取火土。彼曰：金水旺极，何以又取金水？则命书不足凭乎？书曰：“旺则宜泄宜伤”，今满局金水，反取金水，是命书无凭矣。余曰：命书何为无凭？皆因不能识命中五行之奥妙耳。此造水旺逢金，其势冲奔，一点甲木枯浮，难泄水气，如止其流，反成水患，不若顺其流为美。初运癸亥，助其旺神，荫庇有余；一交壬戌，水不通根，逆其气势，刑耗并见；辛酉庚申，丁财并旺；己未戊午，逆其性，半生事业，尽付东流，刑妻克子，孤苦无依。此所谓“昆仑之水，可顺而不可逆也”。顺逆之机，不可不知也。

乙亥日元，生于亥月，喜其天干两透丙火，不失阳春之景。寒木向阳，清而纯粹，惜乎火土无根，水木太重，读书未售；兼之中年一路水木，生扶太过，局中火土皆伤，以致财鲜聚而志未伸。然喜无金，业必清高。若以年时为乙木病位，月日为死地，岂不休囚已极，宜用生扶之运？今以亥子之水作生论，则不宜再见水木也。

此与前造只换一辰字，以俗论之，前则制官留杀，此则合官留杀，功名仕路，无所高下，殊不知有天渊之隔。夫制者克而去之，合者有去有不去也。如以辰土为财，则化金而助杀；以酉金为官，仍化金而党杀。由此观之，清中带浊，且以财为病者，不但功名蹭蹬，而且刑耗难辞。惟亥运逢生，可获一衿，壬子如逢木，秋闱有望；癸丑合去子印，一阻去程，有凶无吉；甲寅运被申冲破，寿元有碍矣。

甲子日元，生于丑月，支类北方；天干辛癸，官印元神发露，克去丁火，丑未遥隔；又水势乘权，不能冲丑，正得中和之象。所以土金水运，皆得生化之情，早游泮水，战胜秋闱。只因格局清寒，仕路未居显职，芹泮日长鸣孔铎，杏坛春暖奏虞弦也。前则逢冲，官印两伤，名利无成，此则不动，名成利遂。可知墓库逢冲必发者，谬也。
